TERMS OF STAY

Welcome to Weil Hotel Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia ("Hotel"). We want to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. In order to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all of our guests, we ask that you please read and abide by the following Terms of Stay:

  1. Online Check-In Channel: You may check in through our Web Check-In Site (https://checkin.weilhotel.com). Kindly ensure that all information provided during check-in is accurate.
  2. Age Requirement and ID: Guests must at sufficient legal age of 18 years old and above and are required to present a valid government-issued identification card with photo (e.g. passport, national identity card, driver's license) upon check-in.
  3. Payment and Incidental Deposit Collection: You are required to settle the full payment of your stay at the time of check-in. An incidental deposit is may required upon check-in and may be collected via credit card or cash. The amount of the incidental deposit varies depending on the length of stay and services used. The incidental deposit will be refunded upon check-out, subject to deduction for any incidental charges or damages to hotel property.
  4. No- Show Policy: Failure to arrive at the hotel will be treated as a No- Show and will incur the full period charge.
  5. Payment Refund: Guests are required to contact the Hotel in case a refund is permissible. If a penalty charge is incurred, based on the cancellation policy, this will be deducted from the amount refunded. Please note that the refund will take 20 working days to process. Any refunds processed shall be via the original payment method for easier tracking of money movement.
  6. Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time is from 3.00pm onwards and check-out time is before 12.00pm. Late check-out and early check-in may be available upon request and subject to availability and additional charges. All Hotels operate a strict check-in and check-out policy, the times of which vary from Hotel-to-Hotel.
  7. Check-out: If you decide to check-out before you’re due to, we will not be able to refund the cost of the remainder of your reservation which you have not used or be liable for any associated costs you may incur.
  8. Changes and non-refundable policy: Payments made for bookings (including Add-Ons, if any) are strictly non-refundable.
  9. Deposit and Tourism Tax: Rates are quoted in MYR and not inclusive of room deposit of RM200 per room per night. Tourism tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests from 1 January 2023 onwards. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
  10. Child Policies: Children of any age are welcome. Children aged 13 years and above are considered adults at this property.
  11. Restrictions: Pets are not allowed and any equipment for heating and/or cooking purposes.
  12. Cot and extra bed policies: Cots and extra beds are available at this property (subjected to availability). Baby cots are complimentary and extra beds are chargeable at RM152.00nett inclusive of 1 breakfast per unit per night.
  13. No smoking policy: WEIL Hotel is committed to provide a smoke-free environment in all our hotel premises and practices a strict NO SMOKING policy in all our hotel premises. Smoking in the rooms will result in a cleaning fee of RM400net.
  14. Special request: If you have any special request, you must advise us at the time of making your reservation. Although we will endeavour to pass any reasonable request on to the relevant associate, we regret neither WEIL Hotel nor the Associate concerned can guarantee any request will be met unless we have written to you with specific confirmation that it will. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed.
  15. Optional facilities: Luggage storage is available only for guests currently staying with the Hotel to store their luggage or other personal belongings before check-in or after check-out, at the Hotel’s option.

    Each item of luggage will be tagged with a luggage identification tag and may only be retrieved by the bearer of the tag. If the tag cannot be produced during collection, we may nevertheless allow the luggage to be collected if the person claiming it can establish, to our satisfaction, his/her right or authority to collect the luggage. Our hotel shall not be liable for any loss or damage for releasing the luggage accordingly. Your use of the Hotel’s luggage storage facilities is at your own risk. We will not be responsible for loss of or damage to the luggage, the contents therein or your personal belongings (including any valuables, even if we have been advised) during storage or during the disposal process.

  16. Damage: You are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to the Hotel premises or property caused by you or any persons in your party (whether or not staying at the Hotel) during your stay. WEIL Hotel reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs, or expenses.
    However, WEIL Hotel has right at any time to terminate your stay or that of any member of your party due to misconduct, where justified in our reasonable opinion. No refunds will be given, and the Hotel shall not be under any obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may incur as a result of your stay being terminated.
